April 28, 2022:  At Discover Halifax, we challenge ourselves and others to think differently and get creative. And one of the ways we're doing that is how we are celebrating our 2022 Take the Lead champions.   

On April 28, we celebrated our champions alongside other Halifax leaders at the Annual State of the Municipality, where each champion received a fine jewelry pin, designed by NSCAD's Meichan Yuan.

November 1st, 2021: Today we’ve officially launched Take the Lead, a new program designed to inspire business and community leaders to take a leadership role in attracting high-value events to Halifax. 

We want you to consider how to take the lead in helping to bring events to Halifax through your connections with boards, associations, events, or initiatives that you are involved with or passionate about. And challenge other business and community leaders to do the same!
